Development Internship

Location: Remote

If you’re learning how to code and trying to get started on a career in tech, Trivial’s paid internship program is a great way to bring your development skills to the next level. You’ll work alongside our professional developers tackling real-world problems and see your code go from concept to life, and maybe even into our finished product.

Why:

We talked to code bootcamps that service underrepresented communities, and one of their biggest challenges is getting graduates real-world experience so they can get full time jobs in tech. Since our mission is to make software creation more accessible, it’s a natural fit to create opportunities for people entering tech from a variety of backgrounds and ensuring they have a welcoming, enriching experience.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have basic html, JavaScript, and CSS experience
  • You will need to provide your own computer and internet, but we’ll take care of the rest
  • The program is 6 weeks long, fully remote, and meets synchronously for 4 hour blocks twice weekly.
  • There’s an additional 8 hours/week for a total of 16 hours/week.
  • This is often the first time you’ll be working on a professional development team, and that’s great

Compensation:

  • You’ll be paid as a contractor at $25/hour and be able to list Trivial on your resume.
