Automatically Create Zendesk Tickets

Zendesk is a customer service platform that offers their very own RESTful API. We've wrapped the /api/v2/tickets endpoint from the Zendesk API as an action called ZendeskTicket.

To get started, search for "zendesk" in the Actions section of the Dashboard and select ZendeskTicket

The action will appear with required and optional attributes. In the left-hand columns, values can be added for the attributes. The text you add is treated as JavaScript, so you need to wrap your messages in quotes:

With the desired attributes entered for the ticket, hit Configure to enter a valid API Token:

Once the token has been entered and saved, click the Save & Rebuild button at the bottom of the Dashboard to push your changes! You'll get an Application Built! message when your changes are live.

If everything went correctly, a ticket will be generated in Zendesk every time the action is triggered. Read more about how to trigger Trivial actions here.
